Now that Tapas is dying, I’m gonna
Re-upload my older projects on here and on Namicomi. And while I liked Tapas, by the time I got on it, it already felt a bit like a ghost town.

BEASTMODE is up on now: nami.moe/t/XDMMaSkX

The hardest part about the Tapas news isn't just losing another place to publish.

It's the reminder that a creator can do everything “right”—and still have a major part of their career affected by a corporate decision they can't control.

One thing the Tapas shutdown really highlights:

Digital publishing has made it incredibly easy to distribute your work.

It has NOT made the infrastructure underneath that distribution permanent.

Tapas shutting down in North America is a pretty brutal reminder that “I published my work online” and “I have a permanent home for my work online” are two VERY different sentences.

Back up your stuff, folks.

Hey folks, no new chapter for the foreseeable future. I am currently stuck on the third act of the story; New chapters in mid-Oct. In the meantime, please read the old ones and share them around.

Hi everybody. I crawled out from beneath my pile of bad decisions and uploaded a new chapter. Please read it before I start acting mysterious and dramatic again.
