A rugged, expansive limestone landscape featuring tiered grey rock pavements and low, ancient dry stone walls. Weathered horizontal slabs of craggy, textured stone fill the foreground, interspersed with tufts of wild green grass and hardy low scrub. In the background, a massive hillside rises in stratified horizontal layers of bare bedrock under a pale, overcast sky, evoking a stark, timeless, and untamed natural atmosphere.

Stepping into the quiet cloister at Quin Friary in County Clare last week. The afternoon light cut through the arcade columns onto the flagstones... amazing place! buff.ly/xop3BlH

A wide black and white photograph captured from the corner angle inside the covered stone cloister of an ancient abbey. An unbroken sequence of pointed medieval stone arches supported by short paired columns runs along two perpendicular sides of a gravel walkway. Sunlight streams low through the arched openings, casting sharp, rhythmic rectangular bars of light and deep diagonal shadows across the gravel floor and sunken stone slabs. Overhead, a curved, coarse barrel-vaulted ceiling shows weathered masonry texture leading towards arched doorways at each corridor end.

The wonderful poet, activist and organiser #SarahClancy lives in #CountyClare. So she wasn't too far away from #Doonbeg to help organise an artistic reception for #DonaldTrump when he arrived on Saturday to visit his Trump International Golf Links.

Winding through The Burren feels less like driving across Ireland and more like navigating another planet.

A low-angle shot along an empty asphalt road curving gently into rugged limestone hills under an overcast, moody sky. In the foreground, weathered dashed white lines mark the centre of the tarmac. The road winds between patches of dry, yellow-green grasses, leading the eye towards stepped grey rock terraces and sheer craggy cliffs in the distance. The overall atmosphere is quiet, wild, and solitary, dominated by earthy tones of grey, olive, and muted amber.
