After a loooooong break of a few years I finally have a new Rigstation rig!
(Except this time the rig is in Unreal Engine and not Maya)

Unreal Engine is free. Hopefully this character helps people practice and learn animation!

UE rig studies: Neck and Spine modules are done!
Leg module was very tricky, I had a lot of issues with the reverse foot + ik/fk switch setup but I think it's stable now.
All that's left is the knee Pin and I can probable reuse 90% of the code for the arms module.

This weekend's progress.
I modeled blendshapes entirely inside UE and it's a pretty smooth process! Some quirks with mirroring but still pretty handy. I have a few cycle issues I found only happen when animating in Sequencer, I'll fix that and prob wrap this project up!

Ok, I figured out how to fix this without a restart...
So I was adding Curves to the SK and it didn't get recognized by Sequencer until I opened the actual Modular Rig asset and it "updated" and started recognizing the Curves for animation...

I was able to advance quite a lot today! Fixed a ton of bugs, got to sculpt some shapes like the neck tension, rigged the full eyelids system, head squash, all hairs... almost wrapping up!! Zip lips, brows correctives, squint and sneer and adding actual physics hair to go.
