...people in the southern U.S. had the highest regional rates; the poorest Americans had the highest rates compared to other wealth groups; and people in rural areas had higher rates than those living in large and medium-sized cities.

shaelarene I saw someone on Threads say that being an American right now is like screaming for help in a serial killer's soundproof basement...and while that's accurate, it doesn't go quite far enough. We're absolutely screaming for help in a serial killer's soundproof basement but unfortunately, we're locked in there next to three people with Stockholm Syndrome going on and on about how the serial killer is playing 4D chess and being murdered by him is a blessing. I hate it here.
