Happy Saturday the 10th of #Commandtober #Inktober!

Saw this one giving everybody gifts, but they HURT? My brain went: Krampus! Then my brain went: @tappytoeclaws.bsky.social's goat mom cosplay!

So I drew that.

Altered Magic: the Gathering card
"Seizan, Perverter of Truth" as "Krampus, Bloody Generous"

Art depicts a sexy goat human holding up a tiny and bloody gift

Day 9 of my #Inktober #Commandtober

A wizard that lets wizards draw cards? Made me think of this dude from Discworld, the youngest faculty member of Unseen University, who leads the High Energy Magic division and built their magic computer, all with the help of (gasp!) students (the nerdiest ones).

Altered Magic: the Gathering card

"Azami, Lady of Scroll" as "Ponder Stibbons, Head of HEM"

Art depicts a nerdy-looking wizard with a hoodie, glasses, and a pointy hat. The hat has "HEX" written on it. Under the hoodie is a t-shirt with an atom-like design with eight orbits. Behind him, through a doorway alight with muddy rainbow colours and sparkles, is a crowd of other figures in pointy hats.

Day 8 of #Commandtober #Inktober

See, when she starts, somebody else has the Monarchy (i.e. the Rose Bride), but once she wins it, she becomes invincible. Unless of course somebody wins the Rose Bride back, because all these duels keep happening.

I thought that was pretty fitting! 🌹🤺

Altered Magic: the gathering card

"Jared Carthalion, True Heir" as "Revolutionary Girl Utena"

Art depicts Utena from the anime of the same name, standing with her sword in hand, surrounded by a shower of rose petals. Behind her, in the sky, is an upside-down castle, and on the ground is a the silhouette of Himemiya Anthy, the Rose Bride.

Only Day 7? #Commandtober #Inktober

Today I dust off the old Sesame Street frame I made a while back. I was doing a bunch of Sesame-ified cards, and Cookie Monster was gonna be next on the list.

He obtains cookies (food) somehow and gobbles it up for profit, it's not that deep!

Magic the Gathering card proxy
the border is styled to evoke Sesame Street

"Peregrin Took" as "The Cookie Monster"

Art depicts the famous blue muppet stuffing cookies in his mouth. The pose is vaguely reminiscent of Psychatog.

COOKIE!!!

Day 6 #Commandtober #Inktober

A twofer!!

I always thought the colours of an Alice deck would need to include at least white and red, to highlight the dichotomy of orderly(ish) real-world and fanciful Wonderland. This partner pair works well! And the 1/1 tokens can be card soldiers. Badaboom.

Altered Magic the Gathering cards

"Trynn, Champion of Freedom" as "Alice, Magnet for Mayhem"
"Silvar, Devourer of the Free" as "Cheshire, Connoisseur of Chaos"

Art links the two cards in a panorama, with Alice (inspired by the Disney design, with blond hair, a blue dress and white apron) on the left, running away from a line of card soldiers, carrying a pink flamingo crocket mallet; and on the right, the grinning purple striped Cheshire Cat sitting in a tree, watching the back of the card soldier line. In the middle, a large castle is seen in the distance, with many towers an a large heart-shaped entrance.

Day 5! #Commandtober #Alterber #Inktober

One rider-dragon duo becomes another (friendlier) one.

Zooming in, untouchable, striking then zooming off again and drawing cards along the way fits perfectly for these two! Better than for Zuzu and Juju I think. Plus Vikings are a lot like orcs, right??!?

Altered Magic the Gathering card
"Zurgo and Ojutai" as "Hiccup and Toothless, buds"

Art depics Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III riding the Night Fury Toothless (from Dreamworks' How To Train Your Dragon), flying along rocky seastacks, with a few dragon friends lagging behind.

Day... 4? #Commandtober #Inktober #Alterber

Hey, remember ReBoot? I remember it. It was great.

Anyway, Dot was introduced as just a successful business owner, but in the show's run, you find out she is THE successful business owner, a leader and a badass. She gets people to do stuff and it works.

Altered Magic the Gathering card
"Galadriel, Light of Valinor" as "Dot, Command Dot Com"

Art depicts Dot Matrix from ReBoot, standing with authority in the midst of a bunch of vidwindows. The blurry background shows her in front of the diner she owns, Dot's Diner.

Day 3, woo! #Alterber #Commandtober #Inktober ?

Since these two are BASICALLY THE SAME GUY, I thought Riki would be a good fit for them. Plus they do have wizard powers. And theres a ted-blue ability and green-blue ability. 👀

Altered Magic the Gathering card
"Riku of Two Reflections" as "Mario and Luigi, Superstars"

Art depicts the Nintendo characters, Mario and Luigi. Mario wields fire and Luigi wields lightning.

Day 2 of #Commandtober? #Inktober? #Alterber? maybe even #moxtober?? Though I'm purposefully not making Magic art? 🤔

Random legend reskins as famous characters is what I'm doing!

For this one I thought: empowers himself by scrapping random objects? Goads? Menaces? Sounds like Kid from One Piece!

Altered Magic the Gathering Card
"Farid, Enterprising Salvager" reskinned as "Eustass Kid, Damned Punk"

Art depicts the One Piece character, Kid, standing menacingly as various metallic junk assembles into a mechanical left arm for him.

@falingard.bsky.social Oct 1, 2026, 12:29 PM

What is this? What am I doing? Is this #Inktober? #Alterber? #Commandtober?

Dunno, just thought I'd make my own low-effort drawing challenge this month. We'll see how well I can keep it up.

This one makes REBELS, get it? And then the rebels summon him back! And he gains experience!
