Monumental Gothic portal of Cologne Cathedral in Germany. A tall decorated metal door stands within an elaborate stone portal framed by pointed arches, tracery and sculpted figures. The tympanum and surrounding Gothic stonework rise above the entrance, while large statues flank the doorway. Cologne Cathedral marks the starting point of the Left Rhine Camino, which follows the Rhine south toward Koblenz. Monumentales gotisches Portal des Kölner Doms. Eine reich gestaltete Metalltür steht innerhalb eines aufwendig gegliederten Steinportals mit Spitzbögen, Maßwerk und zahlreichen Figuren.
