Greenland's official coat of arms (adopted in 1989) shows a polar bear on a blue shield. The design is similar to an element introduced in the coat of arms of Denmark centuries ago. The bear's left paw raised to reflect an Inuit tradition that polar bears are left-handed. #Greenland #CoatofArms
