A patient on my assignment last night is under quarantine, "enhanced precautions." It's been awhile since last having to don and doff full PPE for bedside care. My glasses immediately fogged up lol.

COVID/Flu vax this morning, both in my right arm, left still sore from Gardasil 2 couple weeks ago. It's fine. I don't want serious COVID/Flu or HPV/Cancer. More importantly, I want to reduce the risk of passing anything to my patients.

Unsheltered fellow human in the entry alcove to the old Dignity Health Urgent Care office. I did my CNA internship with Dignity Health at St. Mary's, so this now vacant space has a many degrees of meaning. It's difficult leaving a tough night of work as a caregiver, only to walk the street and immediately be confronted with countless in "urgent" and obvious need of care. merDUH!!! 😭

Cartoon with a random Anthurium someone left in the lobby of my facility a few days ago. Becoming concerned, I decided to bring it up and add it to our hodgepodge collection where I'm the unofficial plant nurse.
