We sought to control our affairs & resources working with #Westminster as a partner as opposed to being serfs to Palace of Westminster under, it turned out in 2023, #Clause35 overarching Westminster veto on anything a devolved #ScottishParliament tries to do. Membership of #EU restoration is vital.

Would be much harder to #Clause35 a CT ban though, wouldn't it? They could at least pretend the GR Bill would have run counter to the Equality Act, but I can't see any conflict here.

And, a pro-Indy party should welcome more use of #Clause35. Each use is a brutal reminder of what was lost.

They did the same with heartbreaking testimony provided by real people in support of a #ConversionTherapies Ban - swept aside - likely, very likely fearful of a second slap by #Clause35 if they'd gone ahead with a proper Scottish #ConversionPractices Ban in the manner of the #Spanish watertight one.
