With much to tackle at the upcoming meeting that is expected to tackle 95 working documents, Chair of #CITES #SC81 Kristopher Blake highlighted that clear, concise interventions, particularly focusing on the recommendations in the documents, are particularly welcome.

With more than 600 participants from over 70 Parties and more than 100 observers, #CITES Secretary-General Ivonne Higuero outlined preparations for #SC81, and highlighted the need for dialogue and cooperation as it faces an increasingly complex challenges of wildlife trade.
