My sinuses have been draining into my throat for the last 24 hours because of an allergy flare-up. 😫 My throat is itchy, my head is throbbing, and I'm dealing with a full body pain flare-up paired with little to no energy. 😭

Okay. I am now 100% convinced Jack does know when I'm about to flare. He was on the desk, pawing and nudging me TEN MINUTES before I noticed my head was going off. Thats insane to me. What a special precious boi! 💕

Ugh, September. The weather hits my head the WORST. I’m in the glassy-headed place between migraines.

I love how this worked, though! 😊💜💜💜

A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of a letter on a tag-style background. The letter is a F, represented by Fleabane, in Art Nouveau style font, with an interior fill of flower buds on a yellow background, edged in gold and red. Behind and around the letter are the green stalks and white flowers with yellow centers of fleabane, a daisy-like flower in the Aster family, which grows in east and central North America. There are larger flowers in front, and a field of flowers in the background. The plants go from the base of the tag to just below the hole for hanging, with green grass visible just around the base of the F. Above is a circle, surrounded by a yellow sun and blue sky. The tag is edged in red and gold. Underneath is written “Fleabane”, with “Virginia Wildflowers written underneath. Flower reference: public domain photos. Letter inspiration: Dover edition of “Treasury of Authentic Art Nouveau Alphabets, Decorative Initials, Monograms, Frames and Ornaments (Schriftenatlas)”, edited by Ludwig Petzendorfer, plate 52. Style inspiration: ibid., plate 90 (The letters in that plate gave me the idea, but do not look like my drawing).

Awful, awful night. Once I finally got to sleep, I kept waking up w/ my arms curled under, then I had the awesome dreams 🙄 my meds cause.

(Bob woke me up just as I dropped a cactus screaming like a baby down a hill. Accidentally, I swear.)

He was hanging with a feral crowd, but is super friendly. We rescued his siblings 10 months later, when they were abandoned. Take care of your cats!
