Parents also had an opportunity to take part in the summer reading experience during a parent book discussion with #ChristinaSoontornvat, where they could hear more about #AllThirteen, her research and the story behind the book.

Acclaimed author #ChristinaSoontornvat visited Somersfield to meet with Secondary students who read #AllThirteenTheIncredibleCaveRescueOfTheThaiBoysSoccerTeam as this year’s school-wide #SummerRead. She joined an assembly and visited classrooms to talk about the book and her work as an author.

Thank you to the #SomersfieldPTA for generously funding acclaimed author #ChristinaSoontornvat’s visit to #SomersfieldAcademy! Our students had a wonderful opportunity to meet Christina, hear about her work and learn more about All Thirteen: The Incredible Cave Rescue of the Thai Boys’ Soccer Team.
