白居易 池上 褭褭涼風動 淒淒寒露零 蘭衰花始白 荷破葉猶青 獨立棲沙鶴 雙飛照水螢 若為寥落境 仍值酒初醒 Bái Jūyì On the Pond In fits and starts a cold wind moves, dismally the winter dew falls. Gradually the wilting orchid pales, as does the broken lotus leaf’s green. Alone on the sandbar perches the crane, in pairs fly the watery reflection and its firefly. In such a desolate place, it’s worthwhile to put down the wine and begin to sober up.
