🎀 DAY 13/31 — FIRST-CLASS CHEMO! 🤭

They provided the recliner and IV.

I brought frozen mittens, TWO blankets, and four hours of prayers!

Was I going to chemo or on an ARCTIC CRUISE?! 🧤❄️🤣

Cold hands. Warm blankets. A heart full of prayer. 💗🙏

🎀 DAY 11/31 — TRYING TO FEEL NORMAL!

Chemo took my hair, eyebrows AND eyelashes!

So I drew my eyebrows back on! ✏️🤣

At least THESE couldn't fall out! 😂

Different reflection. Same woman. Same heart. Same humor! 💗

I didn't celebrate cancer. I celebrated LIFE!

🎀 DAY 10/31 — CHEMO & MY RECHARGE BUTTON! 🤭💃🏽

Chemo: “You need to REST!”

Me: “FINE! But make it quick... I'VE GOT DANCING TO DO!” 🤣🤣

After chemo, I took naps to recharge. But I also kept working Monday–Friday and dancing at The Villages Square! 🎶💗

By round 2 of chemo, EVERYTHING tasted like metal!

Even water! 😳

💕 Chemo changed my taste buds, but it couldn't change my taste for LIFE!

Still laughing. Still celebrating LIFE! 💞

Me: “Okay…but could you at least leave my eyebrows so I can look surprised?” 🤣🤭
It did not. 😂
I discovered something it couldn’t take:

Chemo didn’t just steal my energy…
It KIDNAPPED it, took it on vacation and left a Post-it:
“Be back someday.” 🤣🤭
That’s when I learned something important:
Rest is still progress. 💗
Same fighter. Just on a slower day.
