A landscape orientated image taken in the garden at Chatsworth House. I’m standing with the canal pond, a long straight pond so resembling a canal, on my right. It fills most of the bottom of the image and the magnificent Emperor Fountain stands on the right vertical third with the water spurt from it reaching up to almost the top of the image. Pond and land fill the bottom third, sky takes up the other two, it’s a delightful blue sky with wispy clouds. Chatsworth House sits on the bottom left third, perspective makes it appear tiny, in reality it’s anything but. A row of trees, just beginging to show their autumn colours, run into the frame on a the bottom right horizontal third.
