No.3 Covered Slip at Chatham Dockyard was built in 1836 and roofed in 1838 to protect wooden warships under construction from weather and dry rot. A mezzanine was added in 1904 for storage. Today it houses large historic objects and displays. #ChathamDockyard #AerialPhotography
