Kudos to the @isscr.org and @socdevbio.bsky.social organizers of the Early Career Symposium at the @alleninstitute.org. Just an amazing group of folks doing the coolest of science. This has been a fantastic meeting where I saw the future of #DevBio, #CellBio and #StemCellBio!

I have fantastic news! I am truly honored to have been awarded an Emmy Noether-Grant by @dfg.de @uni-muenster.de

Since most of you are not from Germany, I will use the following posts to explain what this Program is, who Emmy Noether was and what my group in Münster will be doing.

We also built NucMetrics, a no-code ImageJ/Fiji tool so the metrics can be easily incorporated into imaging pipelines. Code available in our lab GitHub. #chromatin, #microscopy, #cellbio, #biophysics, #NETosis.

Logo of The Ramsey Philosophy of Biology Lab. The main visual element on the page is a large, black-and-white woodcut illustration of a rhinoceros by Albrecht Dürer. The rhino has armor-like plates with ornate patterns, textured skin, and a small second horn on its back. It stands in profile facing right, drawn in a stylized, almost fantastical manner typical of early European depictions of exotic animals.
