Four panel comic. Panel 1. Image - a cartoon dog like character wearing a striped jumoer and blue trousers reads a purple book beneath a book opened like a pup tent. There is a flag that reads Category Is Books. There are five stickers: hope will never be silent, trans liberation nkw, queer queer queer books, fiercly independent and Daniel Quasar's Progress Pride Flag Text - There is a steady rise in violence... Panel 2. Image - the character stands looking forlornly at the book tent flattened on the ground, the stickers torn, the flag crumpled. Text - against LGBTQ+ folk and their spaces. When it happens... Panel 3. Image - a group of cartoon creatures help to put the book tent back up. One sits atop the spine of it holding the 'Category Is Books' flag aloft. Speech bubbles read "stronger!" "Queerer than ever!" "More Book!" Text - our community rallies. And when it happens... Panel 4. The book tent it restored. The cartokn creatures sit on top and inside it, reading and having lively conversations. The flag Category Is Books flies proudly again. Text - i wish we didn't have to. I wish we were already safe.

WTF!? Used to live near Govanhill. Still visit occassionally. It's a wonderful area, with a big LGBTQ community. Absolutely support Category is Books. If they want volunteers to help paint the new shutters, I'll be there. #CategoryIsBooks #Glasgow #book #BookSky #bookstodon #LGBTQ
