Three things about Urquhart Castle the postcard leaves out. (1/3) The oldest Loch Ness monster story is not set in the loch. Adomnan, writing about 700, puts Columba's water beast in the River Ness, and uses a different phrase when he means the loch. #Castles #History #CastleSky
