Took a lil' comm break to draw my Beloved warlock 🎪🌿🗡️ #ocsky #dndoc #RogueLocked #castirondnd

Bust-up piece of a green tiefling warlock named Beloved, he is slightly angled towards the viewer and his head is guided to look towards someone off-screen. At the bottom right of the piece his hand is clawed and alight with green flames that highlight his face and thick, blonde hair. His shoulder to the left is adorned in thorn tattoos, and red markings frame his face in a flame-like pattern. Above him is a small red eye, symbolic of him being a warlock!

Revisited some Beloved writing and I really need to pick up on this omg, writing him and his patron is SO fun #castirondnd #RogueLocked #wip

Text from a work in progress piece of prose about my tiefling warlock, Beloved, meeting and making a pact with his patron, Mallacht. Reads as follows: "A long index finger tapped idly upon his sage cheek and claws pricked his flesh. The airy note to the strange creature’s voice dropped like a rock to water. Suddenly dark and demanding. “Kitten’s should know better than to hiss at the hand that offers to feed him. But, I shall indulge you…” The invasive heat of its touch slipped down to his throat, thumb finding rest upon his pulse. Its head dipped to the side, curious in one manner and promising in another. “You are dying, Beloved. While we sit in my painting of your circus, your body fades in the mortal dirt. I am here to offer you a last resort. Your… gambit.” Beloved had not realised he held a breath until he tried to release it and was met with a distant, but persistent, ache to his lungs. His questions to the entity’s presence became dulled with realisation cruelly meeting its words. Presently he hung between life and death; and the devil was walking the tightrope with him. A green hand lifted to grapple for the entity’s wrist, only to pass right through it and catch on his own shoulder. “I am no fool to think you offering to save my life comes without a price,” he grumbled, brow pinching. “Speak up, then, what is it you want of me?” The silence that hung in the air lasted less than a gasp - just enough time for Beloved to drown in his own doubt. Then, a laugh." Profile of a green tiefling with blonde hair holding his arm aloft, looking at it with a mixture of curiosity and concern, as green flames engulf it and flow around him. Behind him is a crop of the second character in this piece Portrait of Beloved's warlock patron Mallacht. He is looking smug and off to the side (where his warlock stands) dark horns curl around his face, adorned in golden cuffs and other assortments. He wears an elaborate golden collar/cuff around his neck and flowing, purple robes. His ribcage is exposed, glowing with a teal light.
