Back at it now for the evening, digitizing more #filmstrip audio on #cassettes and beginning to scan a new filmstrip donation.

Back in the office tonight digitizing more #filmstrip soundtracks on #cassettes. Are they goofy? Problematic? Or just about literature? There’s only one way to find out!

IN THE OFFICE TODAY: Scanning #filmstrips and digitizing filmstrip audio from recently donated #cassettes, with it all uploaded to @archive.org when it's done. Come see and hear nearly-#lostmedia as it's saved from loss and landfills. https://uncom.cc/03b6y

I tend to put TDKs rather than Maxell tapes. Only because TDKs were more available in my area.

I’ll admit Dokken was one of those bands back in the day that I just couldn’t get into. Felt like I should’ve been into it. I wasn’t.

These days whatever Dokken is playing is my favorite Dokken.

If you were wondering the best way to listen to your music, whether you should #stream it, invest in #vinyl, maybe #CDs, or heck, even #cassettes are making a comeback, the answer is simple: listen to it with a #dog. (I advocate #PhysicalMedia where you can, but I enjoy digital too. No shame.)

Making progress! Day 2 of checking in #filmstrips, #vinyl, and #cassettes from recent donations. Those filmstrips are stacked four rows deep in the middle there. Not shown: 50 more records, and 20 filmstrips that are being sorted to another box.
