Casra would seek out Lady Iceheart with the stubborn hope of finding out Caulène's whereabouts. She's the heretic she may have followed.

Which begs the conflicting question: is he drawn to Ysayle, or has she become the closest thing to Caulène he can reach? 🙂

Today I'm thinking about the early characterisation of my OCs. 🧵

➡️ Aurelius got darker ideas cut so he could stay soft, and Casra got heavier ideas added so his softness would cost something.

Hi, I'm Daura! I like to write lore & dialogue about my #FFXIV OCs and take GPOSEs.

Behold the two elezens who live rent-free in my mind.

Their lore lives under #aurelius_lore, #casra_lore and #VerdantQuill, new bits added as I go.

Hope this visual helps you get to know them!

(AU, because the timeline says this can't happen)

Casra rarely drinks, but he's surprisingly capable at it. 😂

If he does somehow get drunk, expect longer pauses, slightly more bitter commentary and processing stuff he otherwise wouldn't.

But I also think he'd just snap back into his Ishgardian noble self and 😂😂 oh no

There are two verdicts that make usefulness Casra's greatest wound.

The first: that his life was worth more than the ones who bled out at Carteneau,

The second: a dishonour to House Cielvert. He gave up the sword and now his mother sees him as something to be corrected.

Casra holds the line at Fallgourd Float. Aurelius arrives just in time, and not soon enough. Neither of them walks away from this whole.

NOW LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT how Casra has a tight rein on his emotions but rather than repression, it's selectiveness.

he gets irrationally angry at the rain, you know.

Aurelius: ENFP. Warm, restless, and imaginative. Curiosity is both his compass and his shield. Deeply sincere.

Casra: ISTP. Calm in a crisis, blunt by default and quietly devoted to the people he'd never admit matter to him.
Screw protocol. Do not test his patience.

Casra sees himself as a sword that refused the forge and cracked.

He despises himself. He feels that he is only penance dressed as purpose.

A worn blade that cannot stop being useful because it has never once believed it deserved to simply... be.

Changed up Casra's hair!
The colour is a darker shade.
He can now camouflage into the trees.
