Made light work of it, then started making a bit more hard work of it!

Bonus point win secured, what’s your #3WordThoughts on the first one of the season at CAP?

Cardiff 40-27 Zebre FT

That’s the headline, mission complete.

Declaring and conceding some very soft tries once that was sorted gives Melon a good chance to get stuck in, doubt it’ll be an ongoing problem though.

We need to wake up quickly. Job not done by some margin yet! 🤦‍♂️

Cardiff 26-8 Zebre HT

Job pretty much done with the bonus point secured.

Some nice tries and largely solid defence, few too many errors and cheap penalties for total control though.

Time to put the foot down now.

The offload game Cardiff are attempting is pretty ambitious but if / when it comes off, I’m expecting some worldie scores…

What is it with Welsh broadcasters and live rugby? 16 minutes in to #CARvZEB and we've missed three lineouts and a quick tap penalty already. Why don't they care about showing live action? Same for years now. #URC

Sio going off so early can't be good.
Was walking quite gingerly.

Still weird not to see Rayer on the teamsheet, right?

Right? #CARvZEB

Few talking points there with a back three reshuffle, Tom Howe debut and a slightly switched up bench.

More than enough there to get the job done? #CARvZEB
