@designskeleton.bsky.social@themikerobles.bsky.social once again recommending the best horror picks. Started watching #Carrie and didn’t stop till it was done. Such a triumph of a show. The Flanagan troupe are all so on point in this once, and the kids blew me away. Ending surprised me, in the best way.
@liberalbuddhist.bsky.socialDo you think if Mike Flanagan adapted Wuthering Heights, he would give fans of the book something they’ve never had… a happy ending? 😂
@uncannynerdyguy.bsky.social@mikeflanaganfilm.com’s #Carrie is such a good adaptation. He gets how to adapt,
@liberalbuddhist.bsky.socialMaybe Mike Flanagan should adapt Wuthering Heights next…😉
@salva13g.bsky.socialHe empezado a ver las series #Carrie y #BajoLaSuperficie y no me engancha ninguna. Ni siquiera #AHS13 me está terminando de convencer.
@auntie-jafo.bsky.social#Carrie e1-2
Major updates to modern day times. All good!
Some tweaking to the novel's storyline but no complaints here
Who does the villainous Mama better - Piper Laurie or Samantha Sloyan?
@fudgewilde.bsky.social#Carrie is the closest to book accuracy.
Going forward to season 2 it will be different.
I loved it but gotta see where this is going… I am curious.
Expected it to be little horror but good nonetheless. #PrimeVideo
@deeliciousplum.com🌸 I'm guilty of making this mistake: I assume that what I've stumbled upon or what friends & passers-by have recommended that I've seen all of the exceptional series. Then, #Carrie comes along. The acting, directing, storylines, & cinematography are breathtaking!
@thecomelylads.bsky.socialDo NOT sleep on #Carrie.
Fantastic stuff.
@sugrnspyce4.bsky.socialSo, just finished watching #Carrie, and I enjoyed it. A very interesting take in a lot of ways, especially knowing what Flanagan is trying to build up to. 👀🍿 Also, caught about five or six blatant 'Dark Tower' references in the series. Can't wait to find out which ones I missed.

youtu.be/8jFMt2LTnrE?...
@fudgewilde.bsky.socialFinished #Carrie I can see the consent change where Mike Flanagan told Stephen King. It’s a good show but I was thinking this could be a one & done season until I saw hints then of course the ending.. Carrie not alone who has gifts & they want her cause she’s a God. #PrimeVideo
@chees-y.bsky.socialThe #Carrie show is absolute teen drama trash. This is the new Riverdale.
@taylorallen133.bsky.socialReality tv over for the week see y’all next week 🙂↔️😃
