Thor's Well, a natural basalt sinkhole located on the rugged coast of Oregon near Yachats. Water from the churning ocean waves cascades over the rocky, barnacle-covered edge and pours directly into the deep, dark bowl, creating a dramatic, waterfall-like effect within the stone. In the background, white-capped ocean waves break against the shore under a mostly clear, blue sky.
