I also like how Brennan keeps reminding schemers that there are other viewpoints, not everyone sees magic as helpful, some are scared by it. Not everyone sees the Creed as exploitive, some use the religion to quell their anxiety about the lack of an Afterlife

I totally agree with the theory that all the real Halovars died in the Shapers War and Yanessa found an angel, made a Wish, and took over their identity! She talks different, can cook, isn't a sorceror but a warlock, it's FASCINATING to me, evil as she is.

He talks about a lion and Brennan picked up on the Teor connection, but this highlighted part, the shattered mug, was more of a red flag to me because it proves Wick's relationship with Hal is one of honesty and Wick knows about the breakfast visit.
