The AIEB (Association Internationale des Études Byzantines) committee met in Vienna this August, with Professor Geoffrey Greatrex representing Canada. Professor Claudia Rapp was elected the new president. The next international congress will be held in Athens in 2031. #ByzantineStudies #uOttawa
