It took me eight actual real life years and three versions of her in three separate source medias to decide on the long E instead of short (see-lee, not seh-lee), but I've been loosely using the long E for at least 3-4 of those years I think?

I don't think I'd be suited for combat tbh 😭 if I was, I like to think I'd still be a healer, though I doubt I'd make it to White Mage and would probably end up a Conjurer, lol! Maybe doing odd jobs healing while botany and alchemy (apothecary "healing" work) are a main hustle? 🤔

In which Leon finally stops being allergic to bringing his boyfriend home to meet the family, it goes better than either of them expect, and Celie knows a good soul when she sees one.

"Oh. Hi." Celie steps a bit aside so Eheeya can join her. He comes to stand next to her, arms crossed, looking back into the living area.

"They're so cute," he says as he watches Leon scoop up A'lari as she runs by him only to flip her fully around in a somersault and deposit her back on her feet, much to her delight before she runs off again, then turning back to A'niya seamlessly. "I'm so mad at him for not telling me."

Celie chuckles. "Well, I should have guessed Lari would love you, but Niya's completely smitten with you too, so you're alright." Her words are teasing, and he grins at her in response. "I know it's far from my place, but in lieu of the normal talks one might get from the sibling of a partner of threats not to hurt him, might you make me a promise instead?" She asks, an apologetic smile on her face.

Eheeya blinks, looking down at her. "A promise?"

She shrugs. She knows she's not physically intimidating, and know he knows her well enough that the only thing she really has backing up any claim of /'Don't hurt him or I'll hurt you'/ is her powers. "Listen. He's…"

She turns, seeing that Leon is fully preoccupied talking to Niya now, certainly not out of earshot but at least his attention seems far away enough so as to not hear their words. She tucks her arms behind her and sighs.

"I know I kept making jokes about how he didn't want to introduce us formally or to tell me what you are to him, but… when I see the way he is when he talks about you, I can tell how he feels. And that's why a big part of this is less me threatening and more me /begging/," she admits softly, and Eheeya's brow knits.

He chooses to say nothing, but she looks up at him with a sadness in her eyes and behind her smile that he knows all too well.

He looks back through the open door, watches at how he says something or other and Niya grins brightly and starts to giggle at whatever he'd told her, and he wonders how anyone could ever possibly treat him otherwise. "I think I'm smitten with him, too."

Celie snorts at his use of her turn-of-phrase, but when their gazes meet she gives him a warm smile and reaches out to pat him on the arm. "Well… he certainly loves you. And apparently so do both my kits, so I fear you might be stuck with us."

"No less than you're stuck with me," he winks, snagging her hand in the crook of his elbow and she laughs, shaking her head and looping her arm through his.

In focus are the user's Warrior of Light (a simply-dressed, very short Veena Viera) and the NPC Dancing Green, or Eheeya, also dressed more casually. They are standing just outside a propped open door outside a house. They are both looking inside, where out of focus are her brother (the user's non-WoL OC, who is another dark-haired Veena Viera and Eheeya's partner) is seen talking to the NPC G'raha Tia and a little dark-haired miqitten who is sitting up on the table.

Both those in focus are looking at the scene before them fondly.

She sighs deeply. It really is no one's fault but her own.

Using her powers always came with risks, and apparently sometimes those risks also included being out of practice and overly-reckless enough to result in significant bodily harm. She tugs through her still-damp hair in an effort to bring it up into a ponytail as normal, though her motions are far from their usual level of care. Everything feels slow, detached. She isn't sure if it's the situation as a whole, or just the fact that she's still mentally exhausted, too. Even then, it only took a few days before she felt disgusting enough to force herself out from under the covers. She knows she can't be afforded any more of a break anyways, these last few days have already been enough. /As before, one foot in front of the other./ Literally and metaphorically, even if her entire left side is still extremely sore.

/Well, turns out getting hit by a train isn't so good for you, after all./

A simple gpose of the user's OC and the NPC Dancing Green (or Eheeya). The OC is a male Veena Viera (Leon) with dark hair and floral tattoos seen on his arms. They're both laying on a couch in (presumably) Eheeya's apartment. Leon is passed out on top of him in a position that can't possibly be comfortable for either of them, but neither seems to care. They both sleep soundly and the apartment is dim (nighttime).

Mere moments after they settle, Alisaie is midway through opening her mouth to ask why Celie is wearing her unglamoured combat gear today when the Veena looks up and happens to meet gazes with a smirking Y'shtola.

The sorceress /snorts/.

It's not a sound any of them have heard before, and the speed at which most of the necks in the room whip towards her is downright comical. The look that follows and sends them all turning away again at even greater haste is even more so.

She can definitely tell Thancred knows (if simply going by the smirk on his face), but he also knows that he'd regret any comments he might make, so he keeps his mouth shut. Even Krile's /'Good morning, Raha,'/ had been with a small smirk.

"Let's just get on with the meeting, please." Y'shtola presses, huffing. "We can gossip about… /personal developments/ later."

"The what."

"Sorry, not mine. For that, you'll have to ask the Mistress Baldesion." He states, trying to absolve all responsibility.

"Oh, we'll discuss this later," Celie says to him sweetly before turning her attention back to the group, and for the first time since they'd met, he thinks she actually might try to hurt him this time were she to clobber him upside the head with her new crook.

Aside from the "iconic" look and warm and cold weather outfits, I also have at least one properly "armored" outfit (for tanking), two "fancy" outfits (think more ceremonial armor/gear), two formal dress options, and something both "modern" (Dawntrail) casual and fantasy casual!

She's content just to hold him for a while, eventually pulling back only the barest few ilms to fret over him a bit, brushing some strands away from his face lovingly for a moment so she might look into both his eyes. He'd fantasized about exactly this sort of moment more than once after all, and he easily finds himself falling a little deeper as she absentmindedly runs her fingers through his hair. He could fall asleep like this, and he's almost tempted to do so.

She leans over and her lips brush his forehead, her hand absentmindedly reaching to pet his ear before she halts as if remembering that the act was likely something she should receive permission for, and not just doing it. She'd do the same for any of the other miqo'te she knew after all, not to mention that outside of maybe having to touch his ears to heal an injury, this is an entirely selfish desire of hers.

"Oh. May I?" She asks, fingertips shaking as much as her voice as they brush the edge of one.

His face turns hot. "Ah… yes, please." He wants to think his voice doesn't squeak slightly when he says it, that he doesn't sound too desperate, but he knows she'll be mindful that they're sensitive.

She nods, and he rests his head back against her collarbone. Her touch is feather-soft and the moment her thumb gingerly begins to rub small circles into his ear, he melts into her touch. It doesn't take long until she finds them. She touches the slight dip in his fur, finds the part underneath that yet hurts a little, the skin still a bit raw. She pulls back slightly, looking at him in concern. "What happened?"

"… I'd been in the habit of fastening them down for a time." He pauses, as if he's afraid to admit what he says next. "As how I bound my tail. I… I couldn't risk giving myself away."

Her brow knits in the middle and she sucks in a harsh breath. She tugs him close to her once more and channels the slightest bit of restorative aether, just enough that she's comfortable with until the skin she can see on his ears isn't quite so irritated, and then rubs them again. He sighs out in bliss and she can't help but smile. She wonders if it's the same satisfying feeling she gets from massaging the ache from her scalp when taking her hair down after a long day.

"Please don't anymore," she says. She knows she sounds meek, but the thought of the pain she knows it must have caused him makes her heart ache.

"I won't." He says it like a promise, melting into her touch and bumping his forehead against her. /This/ action she knows, and she nuzzles her chin and nose into his hair in return.

/Isn't this bliss?/ The voice in her head whispers. This time, she agrees.

A simple gpose done showing the user's Warrior of Light (a dark-haired, simply-dressed Veena Viera) and the Crystal Exarch.

They are in her Pendants apartment in one of the corners by the window. The night sky can be seen clearly outside. It's the night after Emet-Selch's defeat, and while the celebrations likely still linger across the Shard, they clearly left the party a while ago. The apartment appears very well-lived-in, the corner itself made up more like a burrow or nest and decked out with a blanket, cushions, stuffed toys, scattered and stacked tomes and other miscellany. Plants and lanterns hang from the walls, providing soft blues and pinks to illuminate them since the lights in the room itself are off. (None of the decor is "renter-friendly" and she definitely got away with more than she should have in the process of decorating this space, not that he would have stopped her anyways lol.)

He is sitting with her in the little floor nest with his back against the cushions, relaxed and comfortably stretched out holding her in his arms where she rests propped up against him. Her hand is on his chest, her eyes closed in contentment. Two steaming cups of tea and an open book sit on the sill off behind him as though they'd made an effort to read something together, but decided to cuddle instead.

She's still a baby in Viera terms (31 summers) so she answers honestly! That might change in a few decades though just depending on how gracefully she ages lmao
