well that was one helluva buy in/tailgate brawl lol hope the #ppv is as good or better @allelitewrestling.com #aew #buyin #tailgate #ppv #lfg

Tailgate Brawl turned around what I thought was a really cold and strange first 40 minutes of the #AEWCollision #BuyIn. Let's get started on #AEWAllOut

So the Tailgate Brawl was Sports Entertainment, but the best version of it. I know some #AEW stalwarts worry that if they dip their toes too much into "WWE" territory with stuff like this that it will stick, but sometimes a wacky match is what helps a show find its way. #AEWCollision #BuyIn

ACE AUSTIN TOUCHDOWN!!!! #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

AEW Stealing Spots from WWE2K Confirmed. ;) #AEWCollision #BuyIn

FOOTBALL! #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

The "NFL" player intros with a speaking line are very clever. Marina with the best line, "Will Ospreay's a little bitch". Good presentation style. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

Well not a damn thing on the #Buyin but the hot dog BOOOOO #AEWAllOut

Mick Foley was very cute and clever as the "football sideline reporter" asking Team Bang Bang Bang sports-interview style questions in that backstage promo segment. There you go, a compliment. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

I don't know if I'm being grumpy or not (I certainly don't want to be), but this pre-show just isn't my cup of tea this time around. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn Hopefully things turn around.

If you know Skye Blue is going to be cheered, just book her and Hart vs. two jobbers in a squash match. I don't think this match did Mina and Aminata any favors, and that's weird given the push they received over the last few weeks on TV. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

Well, now they're booing Mina and Queen on the double team off the top on Skye. The crowd is definitely in a weird spot here and that's resulting in mixed reactions, though to be fair, they are popping for big hits and seem overall engaged. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

Another weird booking call: Mina and Aminata vs. Julia Hart and Skye Blue in Skye's hometown. She's in complete Chicago white / blue / stars colors but she's supposed to be THE HEEL. Crowd isn't booing Mina / Queen yet, but they're clearly pulling for Skye. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

What I would have booked: Joe turns his back on JACK and it's JACK who gets the Kokina Clutch ON JOE. Then it's The Opps who have to pull him off and from THERE you could have done a Joe / Opps beatdown. Gives Perry an upstart moment AND the heel heat where it should be. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn

The match vs. Shibata was fine, and Samoa Joe is emeritus my guy going back to '03-04 ROH, but I did NOT like the post-match segment with Joe and Perry AT ALL. A rare booking miss in this current-era of #AEW #AEWCollision. #BuyIn

Well... if that was supposed to get Jack Perry over by confronting Samoa Joe... that didn't work.

It's weird. Jack had so much momentum and vibe building just a few months ago. Losing efforts but killing it in the ring and getting the crowd behind him. This ain't it. #AEW #AEWCollision #BuyIn
