My September Burroughs read (in just under the wire)-The Chessman of Mars (Book 5 of the Barsoomcycle). SO far, my least favorite of the Barssom books. Neither Tara nor Gahan are very likable, but ERB still managed to weave a weird adventure full of wonders with them.
