Today's bugpost is this pretty Rabid Wolf spider!

We get quite a lot of these, but very rarely have I seen them get so big. I suspect she was a gravid mama with eggs on the way!

Digital drawing of Winnie and Rayen, client’s OCs, in artist’s “bug” style. Bugs are two heads tall with big eyes and simplified shapes. These bugs are wearing hanbok, or traditional Korean clothing! Both are drawn in hanbok worn by unmarried girls, which includes a jeogori (jacket), a chima (skirt), and a daenggi (hair ribbon tied to the end of a braid) in bright colors.

Winnie (left) is a cheerful young woman with dark skin and wavy black hair tied in a braid. She is wearing a pink jacket with embroidered cuffs, an iridescent purple skirt, and purple hair ribbon; hanging from her jacket is a pink norigae, or pendant, with a jade charm. Rayen (right) is taller and thinner with fair skin and blond hair tied in a braid. Her jacket is a semi-sheer green embroidered with large red flowers and darker green vines. Her red skirt, matched to her red hair ribbon, is embroidered with the same motifs. Winnie is holding Rayen’s hand and squealing as Rayen laughs. They are very cute!

Today's bugpost is this silly periodical cicada I caught during the cicada season!

I love this particular picture because he was waving his arms around and it looks like he's going "yippieee" and sometimes I think about it unprompted

Today's bugpost is this big ole fishing spider!

I scooped it up thinking it needed saving, only for it to hop off and dive right down in the water. I knew some spiders did this, but I had never seen one until tonight. 10/10 amphibious icon

Today's bugpost is this Cloudless Sulphur butterfly!

The color is so striking, especially in the sunlight. Looked like a little highlighter flapping around. What a pretty guy
