So, Daisy just went under my bed ( she thought there's millet there). I lowkey panicked, cause it's very tight there and it's too heavy for me to lift it, but then she emerged few seconds after as if nothing happened #budgies

While these chicks grow and their parents recover (My choice not theirs, they clearly want to go again), there is news in the breeding cages. I've had a bonded pair who've been showing nesting behaviour for around 18 months without any signs of breeding. Had a peek in the box today ...

I stopped posting pics as unfortunately the chicks were victims of serious feather plucking (inexperienced parents trying to force them out of the nest so they could move onto the next clutch).

Chicks were removed from the nest early and are now doing really well
