Brewing beer smells wonderful.

My son and I are brewing Northern Brewer's Irish Ale extract kit.
Taking recipe design off the table makes it easier to concentrate on process and equipment.
Mostly new equipment, because it's been a very long time.

#homebrew #brewday all over bar the washing up. A jar of golden syrup will be added after 48 hours. This should give a beer with 5.9% alcohol & a calculated bitterness of 44 IBU.

Hi res photo taken at Marble Beers’ brewery. Two brewers are digging out the mash tun. The spent grain is in a large blue container along with a bright orange shovel. Head brewer Joe is holding on to the legs of Wyn whose legs are poking through the grain door as he’s inside cleaning.

Making a simple but not easy Artemisia Dry Stout, to be later dryhopped and enriched with oak chips tincture. #BrewDay

Homemade salsa & the Tmave collab w/ @ferm-adventures.bsky.social back in May is a pretty great combo. It pays to trade your spent grain from a #brewday! #homebrewing #homebrewbeer
