#WIP stages My big 4x3’ painting inspired by #JoanEardley Catterline work. Staithes and surrounding area is my Catterline. This is #Boulby from a sketch I did on walk. Using #oils and #oilsticks. Really having fun with this one.

Beginning to draw in houses clinging onto the cliff. #Boulby #Staithes #oils 4x3’ wood panel.

Working on some ideas for my big wood panel. . This is from a walk to #Boulby when I was in #Staithes I think it lends itself well to a #JoanEardley inspired painting. No sea in it though. I could extend the view to include some sea.
