For Mercè Rodoreda, #BornOnThisDay in 1908, my thoughts on JOURNEYS AND FLOWERS (tr Gala Sicart Olavide & Nick Caistor).

A beautiful, evocative collection of vignettes, full of striking imagery & dark, unsettling moods. Very poetic, almost like prose poems.
