My #father #read to me every night as a #child, and that is proof positive for why I turned out the way I did - a #writer and #storylover 💜💜💜

(And he carried on the tradition with my little one - see below)

This! So much this!!!

(But I WILL be taking a #readingforpleasure break within the next hour - it's either that, or attacking the next person who bothers me with some boring detail they want attended to!)

When even a glimpse is sufficient to assure you that a #library is a treasure trove!

Nope!

I was traumatised by a movie called "Love for a Vampire", which I accidentally watched on TV when I was 7 years old, and it put me off them for good 😄

The way I would like to store MY #books - safe from unauthorised persons with sticky fingers! 😀

#truestory 💯

Glad to know I am not alone in my peculiarities! 😄

For sure, for sure! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Because it is certainly on the top of MY list 😀

I just *know* my #tbrlist #books gather together (like the ones in the video below) on a weekly basis to complain to each other about me at their "Abused Books Anonymous" meetings 😄

Do I care? Nah...

Yes! But don't forget #libraries as well.

They don't expect you to buy anything. Instead, they give you something precious for free 💜

No, your #bookshelf is for ANY and ALL the #books you want to put there!

#Reading is not a competitive sport - it's about pleasure, not speed or achievement 💜💜💜

#booksky #bookishnerds #bookwormwriterslife
#bookaholic #readersgonnaread #readingforpleasurenotwork #readingrocks #readerslovebooks

Yes, because all the clamour and chaos around us - not to mention the unnecessary drama - tend to be a direct drain on our #happiness and #peace of mind!

By contrast, #art, #books, silence and #nature help us to recharge our souls and protect our sanity 💚💚💚

#booksky #bookwormwriterslife #books

Yes, we do indeed need to protect the real data centres!

So, keep #reading - especially if you want to keep *thinking* (for YOURSELF!) 💯 💯 💯

The best place to go to in search of enlightenment - a #bookshop like this or a good #library!

Let there be light 😏

A home #library is indeed a source of quiet strength - because through #reading, your own #intelligence is fortified with the #wisdom of so many great minds!

I like my #books...in LARGE quantities 😉

How about you???

I have those floor to ceiling #bookshelves!

(But not a *sliding* ladder just yet...) 😊

For me, the fascination with #stories began very, very young.

As the picture shows, I WANTED to read #books long before I ever learned to!

(And I was convinced that borrowing someone else's glasses was the first step in the process!)

This is a perfectly accurate description of the #writerslife!
