The 90’s tween horror scene was dominated by this series. young, impressionable me didn’t realise how many were based on classic thriller movies, like rear window, when a stranger calls etc, but they were a fun guide into the genre.

Leporello suivant un troupeau de moutons (et donc de béliers en partie) l'hiver et l'été, il est d'une douceur et d'un empathie peu commune.

What happens to your imaginary friends when you forget about them? Torture. Unimaginable torture, that’s what. Only 6 books long, but it’s well worth it.
@wellthumbed.bsky.social#booktober recommend no. 8, Bartington Stoke edition of Frankenstein. I love Barrington Stokes as a publisher. Dyslexia friendly, printed on yellow paper, authors involve readers in the writing process, as well as making many classic stories accessible to dyslexic reader. And this one’s fabulous.
