We're honoured for Kathryn Hunter to be performing a powerful extract from #TheEndOfEverything.
Feast your eyes below...
I’m sorry to Booker, but THE END OF EVERYTHING should have been shit listed not short listed.
#bookerprize I am working my way through the shortlist. I won't make it through by the time the prize is announced, but I crave writing at this level and the Booker is a place to find it.
#JohnofJohn I didn't like it as much as other people seem to. The plot revolved (annoyingly) on people just […]

May We Feed The King by Rachel Perry.
An exceptionally brave and confident debut novel. A properly literary book which is also easy to read and totally accessible. Genuinely hooked me throughout and I had to force myself not to read it all in one sitting. #booksky #bookrecommendations #bookerprize
I have just finished reading the 2020 novel The Discomfort of Evening, written by Lucas Rijneveld. #Books #Literature #BookerPrize #GillerPrize
I’m reading and reviewing the 6 novels shortlisted for the Booker Prize this year.
Here is 2/6: The Things We Never Say, a moving character drama by Elizabeth Strout.
Oh my heart. ❤️ (I’m easily touched though).

I read 163 novels and these are the six best: Mary Beard on judging the Booker Prize
Anyone else read / reading The End of Everything?
Finding it unpleasant.
I get the gaps etc are part of the narrative but at times I feel like it’s one of those children’s books that left blank pages for the reader to complete the story. That, but dystopian sci-fi.
Author @lizstrout.bsky.social will be discussing her 2026 Booker Prize nominated novel, "The Things We Never Say" (published @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social) at the National Arts Club tonight at 6:30pm.
Copies will be available to purchase at the event this evening.
"The Things We Never Say" by Elizabeth Strout, shortlisted for #BookerPrize
It puts into words the inner turmoil I've been feeling, discussing mental health & living in today's unstable environment. I also thought of how it would piss off some. #BookSky #Books

My husband picked up some books for me from the library today morning and this fell out of the Hollinghurst. So I’m going to try and see if I can get a new bracelet out of this.

I first read The God of Small Things almost 20 years ago. Rereading it now, I'm ecstatic to report that it still has the same bedazzling effect as the first time!
Set in Jamaica about gays in Jamaica in the 80s to 2005. Violent, explicit, vulgar. A brutal novel, amazing. 👌🏼 #bookerprize
My 51st #BookerPrize
Took me a while to get into it. Brutal and violent.

Liz Stroud's Tell Me Everything is OK. But with her new #TheThingsWeNeverSay shortlisted for the #BookerPrize I have to ask: Why do the same authors get accolades over+over, while some #Greatbooks are ignored. It upsets me. #writingcommunity #books #politicallyincorrect
