Holy heck, after about a month of reading the third book I am finally done. Book three was honestly a bit of a slog but fun nonetheless. I do love the addition of a new member to the party and getting to read about other crawlers is just amazing. On to book 4 and beyond.

Letting a character that isn't your FMC fight the last fight of their own liberation while your FMC holds the path to escape open is just a beautiful and incredibly cathartic experience. #book3 #amwriting #writer #readerthings #trilogy ##darkfantasy #portalfantasy #indieauthor

Rose Kultavaris always believed that with her Power restored she'd have everything. Power was the solution. Power to protect. Power for revenge. Power to choose her destiny! However since she won the Retterheld, she learns that Power is not always a blessing... It can be a beastly burden. Now Rose finds herself and her friends in a hidden mountaintop city of pearlescent ice and mist. The Issen are not savages as she was taught to believe, and they proclaim her their Lost Princess. She questions all that she knows, everything about allegiance, ancestry, and fate. Whispers of war swirl in the air, breaching the magically protected mountains. Blood coats the icy crags and Rose must train her ice magic, magic she barely knew she had. Kyor, her beloved, despises Stefan, the tutor who takes sly liberties with her. Tension churns, affecting them both as Kyor remains bound by his vow to his father, and Rose by a pledge regarding her brother, the oaths smothering them. Can Rose face the burning lessons of the Three Trials of the Veil? Is she truly the Lost Issen Princess? Will she find it within herself, with the help of her faithful friends, and her devoted Prince, to save the world? Fate has created her and can destroy her just as easily. 'Blood of Truth and Traitors' is the third installment in The Hirathean Path Series, the super hot best-selling series by Aria Ashbrook! This is definitely a deliciously dark, passionate, spicy, slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romantasy series, with Chef's kiss world building, Angst, Romance, Yearning and Wonderful characters!! Rose, the FMC is one of my favorite of all time!!! Id recommend it to everyone!!! 5 Stars!! Rose Kultavaris always believed that with her Power restored she'd have everything. Power was the solution.
