Our one real critique of the game is the slightly confusing turn structure. Sam explains how balancing optional and mandatory actions was tricky during our first few rounds. #BoardGameReview

Bullseye is a cooperative clueing and guessing game from @25thCG. Build clues together to help the Archer hit the target as quickly as possible.

And - we're giving a copy away! Check the bottom of the #boardgamereview for more.

Sails Up! is a roll-and-move #boardgame that captures a little of the thrill of sailboat racing. We were surprised with how much fun we had with this simple game.

I really like Flip 7 but not sure with #Flip7 With a Vengeance. It gets vindictive and you can take everyone down with you

I played both and have thoughts 👀

#boardgamer #review: Flip 7: With a Vengeance

Definitely meaner, and I can see why people will love that. Me? I apparently just want to make my own questionable decisions 😂

I've played it, and played it, but I’ll stick with the original

Operation Barclay is interesting for history buffs. Both players take the roles of WWII intelligence agencies, out-manuevering each other while betting on high-stakes poker hands.

Best for teens and adults. #boardgamereview @25thcentury.games

Collect sets of primary colors to score secondary colors at just the right time in Palette from @copperfroggames.bsky.social. The first time I've seen color addition so faithfully represented in a game!

🃏 I thought Flip 7 was just a cute, colorful box from my local game store. Two years later it's the game we hand to every new player before anything else. New review is up on why "one more card" gets everyone every single time

🐐 Bid the highest number... unless someone ties you, then you both lose it all

That's the twist in French Goats in Trench Coats

Silly, fast bidding game about food, sabotage, and saying "baa" in a fake French accent

🦎 I gifted my friend's 8 year old a copy of A Lotta Axolotls. She ended up teaching me axolotl facts instead of the other way around. New review is up on this simple, adorable matching game that somehow works for toddlers and adults at the same table

Blend in with the crowd to claim cow tokens, but stand alone and you get stuck with the dreaded pink cow. Why is this bad? Well, you can't win with her

4-20 player hilarious, 0complexity #partygame of groupthink and table debates

One player poses as Handler while the table stacks plastic birds onto them. Push your luck to hit scoring targets before the flock wobbles and drops, earning literal bird dropping penalties

Silly, frantic, zero-downtime co-op dexterity

Build detailed robots from parts in Widget's Workshop, an odd but quick drafting game from @phaseshiftgames.bsky.social.

Best for families who want something a bit simpler and less frantic than Galaxy Trucker.
