🚜🌾 Clay Bennett nails the culprit: Trump’s tariff war is bearing down on American farmers like a giant combine. He sold tariffs as protection; his own trade policy is putting the people who grow America’s food in the blades. ⚠️ #TrumpTariffs #TradeWar #BlusterAndBlowback #TrumpBlusterFarmersPay

Clay Bennett editorial cartoon showing two combine harvesters cutting through a vast golden grain field. In the foreground, a small green combine labelled “FARMS” harvests the crop, leaving orderly rows behind it. Bearing down from the upper right is a massive red combine labelled “TARIFFS,” its cutting header several times wider than the farm machine and positioned to overwhelm it. The size disparity turns Trump’s tariff policy into the threat: American farmers are depicted as being put directly in the path of the economic machinery his trade war unleashed. Bennett’s signature and “Chattanooga Times Free Press” appear at lower left.
