Happy Birthday Michael Douglas (9/25)

I have fond memories of this sleepy backwater quasi-road movie, back when people went "looking" for America.

Happy Birthday to the late Christopher Reeve.

One of his (and Peter Bogdanovich's) best films, a great door-slamming comedy with a terrific cast.

I read:
Whistler by Ann Patchett
this week.

I watched:
A Quiet Place: Day One

*I read other books and watched other stuff, but mostly I only share when I have connected with the art in some positive way.

I saw the film, CHUBASCO, twice when it came out in 1968. I was 10 years old and Christopher Jones really put the zap on me. He was kind of a less glamorous, less refined Alain Delon. Hot stuff.

Happy Birthday (9/13) to Jacqueline Bisset.

An extraordinary Chabrol film, a good Marxist narrative.
