A sunset in the blue ridge mountains. In the foreground is pastureland with small undulating hills, transforming into the silhouette of forest about a half mile away. It's rained recently and clouds of mist are rising up from the dark trees, lit gauzy gold by the sunset. Far in the distance gentle mountains rise and fall beneath the sun, which itself is barely obscured by irregular clouds. The entire scene has an ethereal quality to it. Contrary to the silent Sunday tag, the entire meadow is deafening with cicadas and crickets and frogs.
