Day 1: Angel

I did an Angel Slime the first year I did a draw challenge, so figured I could cheat and say this is her True Form.

#Blooptober2 #Day1 #Angel #PKtheWorld

A Biblically Accurate Angel Slime. I like the idea that this is the True Form of an Angel Slime I drew a few years ago for my first draw challenge. I'm gonna call her Betty.

Betty has a halo with eight tips floating behind her main body, while eight simple, swirly, wings float around next to her attached by thin little strings of slime.

Her main body is semi translucent, so you can see some of her halo floating behind her. Betty's got eight differently sized eyes all looking at the viewer. A couple drops of slime ooze off two lower wings on either side of her body.

"Shit...You're afraid, huh?" She says.

At the bottom of the page is written: #1 Angel"

It's my first art challenge on Bluesky, but my second one ever. Here's what I wrote up super fast yesterday, you can join along if you'd like, if you're also behind.
"Rules" in the alt text. But really just consider them guidelines more than anything. #OctoberDrawChallenge #Blooptober2

Welcome, to Bloop-tober 2: Slime-lectric Bloopaloo!
This is a quick little daily October art challenge I made for myself this year for some quick doodles to draw everyday in October, and for anyone that's also looking for the same.

For some quick context I have an OC slime species that I call "Slime Bloops". I made them as a means to focus on practicing some basic fundamentals on a semi-regular basis. But still freely explore some funky shapes. For the sake of this challenge you don't have to draw slimes, I tried to make the challenge as generic as possible if folks wanted to draw characters in costumes, or the actual creatures for each prompt.

I'll have a separate post about Slime Bloops design rules as soon as I can for folks that would like to draw Bloops specifically, especially on the last day.

Now, on to the actual prompts.

1. Angel/Demon
2. TTRPG Class
3. Werewolf
4. Yōkai
5. OC's Halloween Costume
6. Demon/Angel (Whichever you didn't do on Day 1.)
7. Element Fusion (Water+Earth, Air, Fire)
8. Vampire
9. Yōkai
10. OC's Halloween Costume
11. Ghost/Spirit
12. Superhero
13. Mummy
14. Yōkai
15. OC's Halloween Costume
16. Skeleton 💀
17. Super Villain
18. Zombie
19. Yōkai
20. OC's Halloween Costume
21. Elder God/Eldritch Horror
22. TTRPG Class
23. Horror Movie Killer
24. Yōkai
25. OC's Halloween Costume
26. Fae/Faerie
27. Element Fusion
28. Creature From an Odd Colored Body of Water
29. Yōkai
30. OC's Halloween Costume
31. New Halloween Themed Slime Character

Obviously, I really like yōkai. As a resource for reference I highly recommend you use yōkai.com. It's an awesome website. Or swap out the "Yōkai" days with Day 26's Fae/Faerie prompt. Which will make Day 26 your yōkai prompt day instead.

Also, consider the "OC's Halloween Costume" days a free prompt day. It's meant to be a rest day. Or even take it as a day to draw your own Slime Bloops!

Have fun if you use this, or enjoy what I draw over the next month.
