Shadow Witch

I entered the house
Dust covered everything.
Nothing moved.
Until I saw her
at the end of the hall.
A face beneath tangled hair.
A body made of shadows

I ran.
the Shadow Witch watched.
Home, I felt sadness
that still lingers
I never went back
