The musk lorikeets around here usually fly high and stick to the high gum blossoms, so I rarely get to see them properly. Lately though, they've been getting into the red bottlebrush which gives me a fighting chance.

Mum’s #bird visitors were at her place yesterday. They have babies right now & there’s not a lot of food for them in growing suburbs. Please think about planting #trees & #shrubs that native #birds like & need for food sources, shelter & protection & nesting. It makes a difference. 🐦 #BirdsofOz
