Couldn't find the needle in a haystack that was the Aberlady Lapland Bunting today.

Did have my first Whooper Swan (10) and Golden Plover (500+) of the autumn. As well as 2 Greenshank and a Pale-bellied Brent Goose.

Not surprisingly, given the light SW winds, it was quiet at Barns Ness today - a single Chiffchaff, 2 Wheatear and passing Barnacle Geese were the only signs of migration, but pleasant nonetheless #BirdingLothian

Unfortunately couldn't find the Torness Yellow-browed Warbler and missed a flock of Cranes there too (Sometimes Birdings just like that Unfortunately).

11 Common Tern, 2 Peregrine, 9 Little Gull, Med Gull and Whimbrel on the way there.
