It’s National Fire Prevention Week and we would like to ask everyone to help us keep each other safe and securely dispose of batteries, especially those that are lithium-ion.

Stay safe, and please keep batteries OUT of the trash and recycling!

#RecyclingRecon These might be the fanciest recycling bins we’ve ever seen. We were in Pierre for the SDSWMA Conference when we spotted these beauties! 🔎✨ Thanks for taking an intentional step to incorporate recycling into the historical scene at the state’s capital!

#WhatTheWednesday Who needs to flip an egg to make an omelet when the frying pan itself is shaped like one?
We DON'T take pans and pots of any shape or size at the recycling facility. They should be brought to your local scrap metals recycling center.

We had the pleasure of welcoming another group for a tour of the recycling facility recently! Connecting with the residents of our communities and teaching about recycling are highlights of our job.
Thank you for letting us show you just what we do here! Keep recycling! ♻️
