One final clip from the #Jean-LucPonty Legacy concert tonight at #Berklee.

Here’s Danish-American jazz violinist Mads Tolling with Berklee faculty violinist Jason Anick performing Chick Corea’s "Armando’s Rhumba”

(Jean-Luc was on the original recording with Chick)

So, #Berklee just gave #Jean-LucPonty a lifetime achievement award. Jean-Luc is watching by live stream and had a statement thanking Berklee, saying he regretted not being able to attend in person, noting Berklee grads he’s worked with.

Oh, and it’s also Jean-Luc’s birthday. 🎂

Heading out soon to see a Jean-Luc Ponty Legacy concert at #Berklee. Been listening to classic 1970s Jean-Luc 🎻, including his first solo album:

Jean-Luc Ponty: “Gardens of Babylon” (Imaginary Voyage, 1976).

Allan Zavod (🎹), Daryl Stuermer (🎸), Tom Fowler (bass)
