Resident Punk - Legs McNeil 🎧🤘🎸💙📚💡

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An entertaining, informational memoir from the co-founder of “PUNK” Magazine, the first to apply the label, the one who lived the punk lifestyle before it was ever a THING! Thanks to #NetGalley #BenBellaBooks & #BrillianceAudio. Out September 15

A 5⭐️ book review for “Resident Punk: How I Smoked, Drank, and Stumbled My Way Through the ‘70s Punk Scene (and Beyond)” by Legs McNeil from LiteraryLollapalooza.blogspot.com:

“An entertaining, informational memoir from the co-founder of “PUNK” Magazine and the co-author of “Please Kill Me”. The primary chronicler of the Punk scene, and the one to apply the label, the one who lived the punk lifestyle before it was ever a THING; Legs was there from the start in 1970s NYC, and he most likely knows where the bodies are buried now. His stories are fun, fascinating, and hysterical. Part cultural history, McNeil’s new book is must-reading for music fans looking for a raucous ride through the resident punk’s life and adventures. Names are dropped like grenades, and truths unburied like an exhumed grave. I enjoyed the hell out of the audio, read by the author, as his tone, demeanor, and delivery reminded me of the late Tony Bourdain. I had a great time. Thanks to #NetGalley #BenBellaBooks & #BrillianceAudio. Out September 15 in print, digital, and audio formats.”

“A step-by-step guide for the author (of any level) seeking literary representation. In easy chapters to read and digest, this complete guide covers everything the aspiring published author needs to know, from the basics to the nitty gritty of managing your queries. Highly recommended for beginners or any writer who feels anxious or unsure of how to move forward professionally. Results dependent on all the things that make some writers more successful than others. But this guide will do everything for you but the work. Speaking of, kudos to the authors for making the industry’s anti-AI feelings clear throughout the book. Thanks to #NetGalley & #BenBellaBooks. Out now.”
